MailTo works by using JavaScript to encrypt an email address and Flash to display it on a live Web page.

While protected from spam bots, the email address is also viewable by humans at the same time and can be easily copied to the clipboard by clicking on it.

A string to Base64 encoder is included with the package, so users can easily translate their email to Base64 and embed it using MailTo.

A demo is included with the download package, showcasing how MailTo can protect an email address. The test page must be accessed via a Web server.
